Kris Lundgaard‘s book The Enemy Within is a distillation of puritan John Owen’s thoughts on growth in the Christian life. I have found the book to be a healthy and helpful treatment and have used it as a series guide in my Bible fellowship class.
Here we have the third presentation which Lundgaard gave at Omaha Bible Church a few years ago, presenting aspects of his research in John Owen and offering various encouragements to further our life lived before the face of God. I’ll post the subsequent conference messages on Thursdays through the end of the series.
I am thankful for the active conference ministry which Pat Abendroth has built over years of ministry at Omaha Bible. Through their ministry, I have had opportunities to see and hear Christian authors and professors which I would otherwise never see. May God continue to bless this aspect of their ministry.
